We provide professional nursing care of mum & baby 24/7 for up to 60 days post natal to help mum rest and regain her health and vitality. We can also look after the baby during the day or night if mum prefers to stay at home.

During the stay you (& dad) will learn essential parenting skills and child health care. Throughout confinement, we will give the necessary support to reduce the risks of postnatal depression and to detect complications for prompt referral to your doctor of choice. With the rapport built up during the confinement stay, we hope this relationship with the family will be long-term and clients will be able to consult (or phone) staff for advise or counseling long after they have left. We hope the parenting skills they learn from the center will have life-long impact on subsequent children.

Child Care 101 Postnatal Classes 

We will help mum initiate and sustain breast feeding and how to safely collect and store breast milk. You will learn:-

Hygienic techniques of formula milk preparation, bottle sterilization and bottle feeding.

Baby care procedures (bathe, dress, handling)

Baby massage and soothing techniques

Infant nutrition and growth

Dos and don’ts of traditional confinement practices

Early recognition of health problems

Taking body temperature, what to do if child has a fever

Common symptoms to look out for – jaundice, flu, cough, diarrhea

When should parent bring child to see a doctor

Medicines and children – dos and don’ts

Home safety,

Simple first Aid

Other Services:

Phototherapy for well jaundiced babies (supervised & reviewed by pediatrician)

Cleaning and Dressing of wound (cesarean, episiotomy), removal of stitches

Provide nutritious confinement food for the mother (optional)

(clients may choose to bring their own cooked food from home if they prefer)

Laundry for the baby & mother (optional)

Spa, body massage, reflexology, hair wash and style, nail care and facials may be provided on request and by appointment (outsourced) at your own cost.
